What's wrong with the PPV price? It's the same price as last time, and this time it's for Undisputed. It's the first time the Undisputed Super Middleweight Title has ever been defended, and it's being defended against a Unified Middleweight Champion in what is unquestionable the biggest rivalry in boxing. I really am gonna need you to stop crying and behaving like a school girl.
Lets put it this way.... If we still had the flagship HBO Boxing, these guys would be on cable, not a PPV where they will be lucky to get 400K buys...
People who don't follow boxing and are not located in Texas/Nebraska do not know these guys. Even regular sports watchers do not know these guys or that they are maybe going to fight. They're completely overrating themselves when it comes to a mainstream audience. This fight is an order of magnitude smaller than even something like Canelo-Plant.
The networks are going to promote the hell out of this fight. Its possible it may hit 1mill ppv buys or close to it. And if they stack the undercard it would definitely be a big event.
This fight always has been more of a competitive draw than a financial draw. That's why it has been so difficult to make. But I'm stoked for it if it actually happens.
1 million???? GTFO... look at the boxers who have done a mill in sales. That is the difference between being well known and not.
