    I'm surprised no one has mentioned James Tillis yet. He didn't have a great record, but he didn't duck anyone whether he was gonna win or lose and was the first to survive a full assault from Prime Tyson. There's also Lennox Lewis who didn't duck either and I believed he avenged the few losses he had. I'd also probably throw in Benevidez. I don't recall him ducking anyone and if anything, I see him TRYING to get fights though everyone in his weight class is afraid of him.

    I nominate the one and only Jesse "Thunder" Ferguson. The North Carolina native fought Buster Douglas, Carl Williams, Mike Tyson, Bonecrusher Smith, Orlin Norris, Oliver McCall, Bruce Seldon, Michael Dokes, Tony Tubbs, Ray Mercer twice, Riddick Bowe, Frank Bruno, Larry Holmes, Alex Stewart, Hasim Rahman and Andrew Golota. In those 17 bouts Ferguson went 2-15. His wins came against Douglas and Mercer in their first fight.

    Billy Douglas

    That’s a better slate than some world champs fight in their who careers including title defenses.
