The AJ of today, current Joshua is mentally broken. He doesn't have confidence in the jab that's the problem, not the technique. Fury does have a decent enough jab but more importantly he actually uses it for varied reasons. Where as Joshua is just trying to set up the right hand and I think that's because he fell in love with his power when he was knocking out over the hill fighters. At this point I don't see Joshua beating any decent HW. I dont see him regaing his confidence unfortunately.
Yeah, except the one he's got! Muaha! Take...your...face back to the...stupid people faces store, Mister. Why don't you do that then, huh? Yeah, what?
When a 270llbs man lands a jab, 'nothing on it' could never accurately describe its impact. He essentially beat up Chisora with his jab alone, to such an extent his corner pulled him to save further punishment. And this is Chisora we're talking about, a dog with no quit in him. If you're favourably comparing Joshua's jab to Fury's you probably need to reassess...
If this fight happens which I hope it does it will be like a repeat of Fury v Whyte,at no point in Joshua’s career have I ever thought he could beat Fury. I’m a Fury fan and if Joshua where to beat Fury I’d be the first on here to admit I got it wrong. Reading a few of the threads on here of late though a certain few members need to chill out, step back and have a think about what they post there getting far too carried away in the moment,it’s simply not good for them to be acting and posting some of the stuff they do,it’s not healthy for them .
Agreed but I’d have liked Joshua to have taken two or three fights before going in with Fury so no excuses or anything and it’s a 100% Joshua facing Fury. I’m actually surprised that Matchroom accepted the offer and wonder if Joshua is simply being cashed in, a bit along the lines of Benn v Eubank jnr .
Fury has a solid jab from orthodox or southpaw. And he can move his head all over the place. So, pumping jab and hard to hit target might have something to do with his being undefeated. So, will it be the guy who can jab with movement, power and two decisive wins or the stiff robotic, fearful chap with three losses out of his last five fights. My my, this is a tough one.
Fury has a quicker 1-2 and is a better outside fighter than AJ, however he is open to counter rights while jabbing as he over-commits and brings his head forward as he jabs.
No doubt that is something he could improve a lot on but too late in the game now. Wlad perfected a jab and couldn't make it work vs Fury on the night. Joshua has a punchers chance but not a great one as Fury's recovery powers mean he's never out of any fight. Tougher evening than Whyte maybe but no different outcome.
