No. Makhmudov is no where near Klitchko but not many have been in the history of boxing. Makhmudov is a seek and destroy type fighter still, he wont be doing that stuff to often, it was takams awkwardness.

He lacks the ability to fight up close like Wlad so relies on manhandling opponents. But unlike Wlad who clinched and leaned to smother his opponents attack, Mahkmudov at least tries to create space to fight back when manhandling opponents up close. So no, Makhmudov isn't like Wlad. Wlad while a horrible clincher had far more skill than Makhmudov. He'd have KO'ed Takam without too much difficulty in his prime not struggled with him like Makhmudov.
