Didnt do anything for the first 8 rounds. Literally nothing. Similar to Smith, Kovalev etc.

Then all of sudden was able to up the pace for the last 3, 4 rounds.

Canelo's team 100% puts some dodgy clauses in their contract..

Golovkin didn't even throw that much in the whole fight. What a disappointment. GGG will be remembered as a tomato can basher, that's all.

No one needs to pay GGG, he is a shell of what he used to be.

This was the standard "Don't throw too many punches and dont punch hard for half of the fight" contract Canelo used on Jacobs

There's no way GGG was that over the hill, this was a fix.

GGG is an old man and he used the strategy that works for him.

Canelo is younger and faster. GGG knew his reflexes are not they used to be and he didn't want to get caught or expand too much energy early.

He started coming forward after the 8th because he knew he had enough energy in the tank.

GGG pulled a Lomachenko, he played it safe the first 6, then closed strong hoping for a KO.

Yeah, GGG threw nothing but arm punches in the first 8 eight rounds, and probably landed like 5 solid punches. It was a **** fight all around. However, it was a rebound fight for Clenelo after the pasting he received from Bivol.

He is past his prime. He looked like that in the first half with Murata too. Canelo twice as strong and faster than Murata. It is wat it is. A guy in his prime beat an older guy with youth and athleticisms.
