GGG was there for the payday, he must know his shot. But even at that it ended up being razor close
The commentary were saying GGG was landing nothing then at that second he would land a flush jab and they would pretend they didnt see it.
Unless it was negative against GGG they didnt see it

    Final total punches landed stats......

    Canelo 130
    Golovkin 120

So even giving away most of the early rounds, he still was only 10 shy of equaling him.

the average fan is now scoring a canelo fight like they are a corrupt judge.
The commentary was terrible. I mean borderline fairytale stuff. I didnt know what fight they were watching

This is why, whenever possible, I watch fights with the sound off.

i can normally tune out the commentary but this is the worst iv ever heard.
Along with the loud canelo fans screaming at every missed punch.
I felt like it was too disconnected from reality to listen too

Not picky, just pointing out a glaring oversight, GGG easily won the 12th.:nusenuse:

Maybe, but he could have won it with a KD and he still wouldn't have won.

When you get a chance, go back and rewatch the 6th, 8th and 12th, and you might revise that opinion.

I think it was his age and weight. The weight more, he looked way better vs Murata. Still powerful and durable, and was more of a threat than Fielding, Smith, Kovalev, Yildrim,Saunders, and Plant, and that is at his worst.

I have regrets about watching this fight once, a big disappointment for me, but I will try.

Some scored it like it was an olympic fight and they gave GGG points for jabs that did not score any damage but touched the target lightly.

    7-5 Canelo. 1 and 9-12 to GGG. 1 and 6 we're very close.
