Even vs this oddly deminished version of GGG Canelo looked quite ruffled in the later rounds. He felt the power. Golovkin looked terribly at supermiddle. It was a very odd fight.
Me too First fight Golovkin _ Clearly Second fight _Draw Third fight Canelo _ Clearly 1-1-1 Respect to both of them
If you can almost beat somebody at 40 when they are in their prime, you are better than them. You would clearly beat them in your prime.
He needs to go back down to MW? Get a grip man, he needs to hang up his gloves and get comfy on his rocking chair, he's past it, carrying on will do his legacy no favours.
I have it 2-1 to GGG, for me the judges were swayed both times because Canelo actually stood up to the beast and did well against him, I mean many predicted that this killer with unrivaled power would destroy the smaller Canelo, when he didn't they were taken aback. If you went in to the bouts without any preconceptions and judged them on being equals, Golovkin won the first two bouts. At the end of the day they were closely matched, it's no good crying about Golovkin being past it, he took the fights, that's on him.
Unofficially maybe 2-1 GGG or 1-1-1. Still no ****ing way 1st fight was either a draw or loss for GGG
He won the trilogy, we know they robbed him, but fairly lost the third fight where he could've had at least a draw if he was more active for two more rounds.
That has always been my consistent view. When you look at all the fights the consistent thing you notice is that Canelo has the better technical skills and is that bit faster scoring with the more eye catching flashy shots.
