Those two had it correct. You could also make a case for 114-114, or 116-112 . But 115-113 was the closest to correct. The second best attempt would be 116 - 112. 114-114 is a bit of a stretch. But a draw last night, while a stretch, is not as much of a stretch as calling GGG-Canelo (1) a draw. To summarize, the judges scorecards, all of them , were reasonable and correct.
Another explanation... He felt that Canelo was tanking. He has before in later rounds. \Canelo didn't have the same sting on his points in the last third. Counterintuitive as it may be, GGG might have won a 15 round fight last night.
But even at 40, he did reach the final bell, and won the second half of the fight on the scorecards. Didn't you predict a brutal KO ?
That was a honest assessment I am not inferring it was a conspiracy I watched that fight and scored it 7-5 in favour of Jacobs. Canelo winning the first 5 and Jacobs coming on strong and winning the remaining 7 but because Jacobs just sat down for the first 5 rounds that's why he lost it's not a fight considered controversial by the fans but just an observation when I initially watched it. If I watch it again I may score it differently? How did you score it?
To be honest all 3 fights looked suspicious to me...GGG didn,t go all out like he can, same thing with the Kovalev fight, It,s all about the money i,m afraid.
It was pretty exact when you were scoring the first two fights. According to some of you there was no room for flexibility. 1 or 2 point variation from your scorecards was simply not allowed.
