ROFL Now you Clenelo lovers are claiming the Vegas judges are bent too.ROFLMAO There wasn't a mark on GGG If it would have been a 15 round fight GGG would had KO'd Ginger
I'm gonna take it easy on you today, after Canelo put on a clinic last night and proved without a shadow of a doubt that he is unequivocally GGG's superior. If there was any doubt about that, last night proved it. Canelo was easily dominating GGG 8 rounds to zip before a late, mini-rally from GGG in 9-12. Too little, too late though CJ. I'm truly sawwie for the pain you must be feeling right now after yet another Canelo beating of GGG. Canelo is Undefeated in 3 fights vs GGG now and I know how much that kills you inside. But don't worry, I'm here for you Ceeej, I'm here for you to offer you emotional support in your time of need.
Not bent CJ. It's just that the judges felt a lot of sympathy for GGG and his fans, after 4/5 yers of endless tears about the injustice of the previous decisions, this time we knew that the judges would try hard to give GGG the fight, if they could. After those laughable 115-113 cards, it's obvious that if it was even remotely competitive, they would have given GGG the fight. But it was too one-sided, too much of a Canelo domination for that to happen.
No, I did certainly did not predict a brutal KO. In fact, I was the one who informed several posters who did that a KO from either fighter was very unlikely.
Give it up, trying to play damage control this time won't work. Most of the first 8 rounds were one-sided. GGG was barely landing anything. Canelo was having his way with GGG until the mini-rally late. I don't know what to say to people who think GGG won 5 rounds. You're scoring with your heart, not your mind.
Wouldn't it make more sense to throw the 1st half of the fight then slow down in the 2nd half. That's common sense due to G's age. The fix wasn't in. Golovkin is old and fought like an old fighter. Nothing more, nothing less. And if the first 2 fights were rigged with bad judging, why change a situation that already worked twice? Canelo could just pay the judges off again.
Two judges had him winning five rounds and there were seven rounds where at least one judge scored for GGG. And as I already said, all of the rounds were close. In Holmes v Cobb, all the rounds were one-sided. In Floyd v Gatti, all the rounds were one-sided. In Haney v Kambosas all the rounds were one-sided. In last night's fight, all twelve rounds were close, even those that could be scored clearly for one or other of the fighters. Neither man was in any trouble at any point in the fight. Although, if it had gone another three, one of them might have been.
If you read what I wrote pre-fight, I said that I expected the judges to score this favorably for GGG. That's what I was worried about, and I was proven correct. Some GGG fans didn't believe me, but that's exactly what happened. The judges were clearly trying hard to give this fight to GGG, but it was too one-sided. The two 115-113 cards were absurd, clear GGG bias. This was 11-1, 10-2 or 9-3 if you're being generous. The judges felt bad for GGG and tried to give him the fight.
If that were so, it reflects pretty poorly on Canelo, in that, in his prime, facing a flat performance, he couldn't come close to stopping a middle-aged 40-year-old, well past prime GGG, and could only manage to win five of the twelve rounds on all three scorecards.
