And amazingly, some GGG stans are claiming he won or came close to winning. LOL it was odd to see GGG up the pace in the last 3/4 rounds. Of course that meant Canelo must have put something dodgy in the contract. It couldn't be that GGG was just conserving his energy so he could come on late. The excuses and conspiracies never stop for GGG fans.
No, I posted my scores right after the final bel, and like GGG, I agreed that he lost. I notice you had no answer to my post, which was... If that were so, it reflects pretty poorly on Canelo, in that, in his prime, facing a flat performance, he couldn't come close to stopping a middle-aged 40-year-old, well past prime GGG, and could only manage to win five of the twelve rounds on all three scorecards.
Could be, but then again you'd want to keep your right on guard against Canelo's power hand. That way you fend off hooks and the like, since Canelo fights from the orthodox stance.
It reflects poorly on Canelo? He beat a guy 2x, and got a draw with the most dominate and feared MW Champion of our lifetime, a guy that outside of these 3 fights is undefeated and untied. It's legendary what Canelo did to GGG 3x. And there's really no way to try and marginalize or nitpick what he accomplished vs GGG 3x.
No, Canelo lost the first two fights, and couldnt even hurt the 40yo, one handed GGG.... who was carrying an injury in the third!!! .
Well you did expect it to be more one-sided than I did, but at the same time the judges had it a lot closer than you thought it would be, who we both agree were far too close scores. I'm not mad at Moretti's 116-112, I expected as much, remember he scored the first fight for GGG. But the 115-113s were completely absurd. So in a way we were both correct, in that I was worried that the judges would score it favorable to GGG, which they did, and you were correct in how one-sided it actually would be, which it was.
Well Canelo had a hand injury as well apparently. But even with that injury, he was still jabbing his GGG's head off with the injured hand, Canelo's jab looked better than it did 4/5 years ago.
although i didnt state it pre fight, what i got wrong was the order of events. i thought it would be more competitive first half, with g slowing down and canelo taking over. but it was a wash first half, and it was canelo who faded some. other than that, its how i saw it ending.
You still haven't addressed any of the post, which was in relation to last night's fight, not what went on previously. You said that GGG gave a FLAT performance last night. In light of that, I said... If that were so, it reflects pretty poorly on Canelo, in that, in his prime, facing a flat performance, he couldn't come close to stopping a middle-aged 40-year-old, well past prime GGG, and could only manage to win five of the twelve rounds on all three scorecards.
ROFLMAO !! you get sillier every day You say Clenelo put on a clinic?? Most of his wild swings only bruised air. GGG jab peppered old Ginger though. Now Shadow read this slowly .... GGG, a man of 40 past his prime, was fighting the clown you claim to be theP4P#1 & happily went 12 rounds with him. At the final bell GInger was gasping like a fish out of water. While GGG stood smiling looking like he could go another 12. There was not a mark on GGG's face. How could this be he was fighting the roided to the gills super brawler? ROFL Bottom line is Clenelo was lucky this wasn't a 15 round fight he would not have made it he'd have been stopped !!!!!! GGG would have knocked him OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh just one more point... You often remarked about how big you thought Pac's head was & that was evidence he'd been juicing Damn old Gingers head looked ENORMOUS!!!!!!in the ring What does that mean HUh ??????
Bivol taught Canelo how to jab. .. Schooled him on it. GGG injury may be longer term than a simple hand injury.
He did beat him in the 1st fight but he should've beat him up better so the judges didn't have a chance to screw him over. He didn't do what Usyk did against Joshua in Round 10, 11 and 12. GGG lacked the true killer instinct that Usyk has.
