    Calzaghe.

And h2h, he would have destroyed any version of Canelo at 168.

His workrate was just too insane.

I'm not saying Froch is the best super middleweight of all time but I think he would have dealt with Canelo as easy as Bivol. But unlike Bivol, Froch would have stepped it up at stopped him.
As Froch would say- too big too strong lol

    Super Joe is of course

Some food for thinking. Three of the names being mentioned: Roid, Toney, and Clenelo are/were all walking PED factories, whereas, people's champ Joe was as clean as a whistle.

And that fellow from Oakland's ripped LHW physique was accompanied by some rather nasty back acne and he was very reluctant to undergo VADA testing for a while too

Calzaghes resume is weak. 40 year old GGG is better than most of Calzaghes defenses.

I don't even like 'Slappy Joe' Calzaghe, but he could do to Canelo exactly what Bivol did...

    Bivol hurt Canelos legacy...bad.

Bivol beat Canelo at light heavyweight and I'm not discussing head to head

Based on Accomplishments and Resume, it's hard to top Canelo. Ward definitely has an argument though with the guys he beat in the Super 6.

What happens if Bivol comes down to SM like he is saying he will, and schools Canelo AGAIN this time at SM? Does Bivol then become the greatest SM ever?

Who did Wladimir Klitschko beat that comes close to prime Mike Tyson? Is Buster Douglas better than Wladimir Klitschko?

Bivol vs Canelo at SM is a real posibility. No way Canelo gets in the ring with Bivol again at LH, as bad as he wants to avenge that defeat! BUT.... Canelo being a cherry picker, might encourage Bivol to risk going down to SM with some $$$ and also put Bivols belts on the line. Bivol has said he is prepared to go to SM... so we will see.
