Canelo vs. GGG 3 [My Scorecard]

Yup The Vegas Corruption strikes in many ways,

Canelo just won like he did in the 2nd fight with more quickness & harder power shots, pretty simple to understand at least for most, but i still see it being written different here due to the mass amount of Canelo hate on the Boards.

 

116 - 112 Canelo but i scored the first round to Alvarez which easily could be given to GGG as next to nothing happened.Therefore 115 - 113 would be acceptable

 

If you turn off the commentary (better to just turn the "fight" off), slow it down to 1/5th speed, put on orange tint sunglasses, sit behind a fish bowl, then watch it upside down, you will see that GGG actually won the fight 8 - 4. It's irrefutable.

Gave him 1st comfortably and 6th and 8th based on activity, jab, and similar amount of clean punches (with Alvarez having his moments.) Then he took 9th through 12th.

People went ape because Golovkin didn't fight win-or-die like Frazier or knock Canelo out like old Foreman did to Moorer, but he actually pulled off an amazing feat of boxing savvy against a prime, elite A-side fighter. When he lost rounds, he lost them clearly, but at the same time he paced himself in a way that allowed him to sweep rounds at the most apt moment -- when Alvarez gassed later on. Combined with the 1st, 6th, and 8th, it could actually give him the win if he wasn't an on his way out, past him prime B-side fighter.

115-113 Golovkin. Draw or 115-113 for Alvarez is bearable for me.

 

I had it a rout, didn't see 3 rounds for that dinosaur

 

For me GGG took the first round then Canelo built up a comfortable lead in the first half of the fight, but GGG made a comeback in the second half to make it a very close fight 115-113 GGG Draw or 115-113 Canelo are all acceptable scores for me I would probably favour a Draw in this one making it 1-1-1 for me in the trilogy.

I think a lot of people had Canelo 5-1 up after 6 rounds so did not bother to score the fight from the 6th round and had already made there mind up on the outcome. Also you should really watch the fight on mute as most commentary is horrendous and a lot of people believe what they hear over what the see for some reason.

GGG and Canelo are 2 very good boxers who are very evenly matched if I had to pick the better fighter of the 2 I would probably go with GGG as I do think Canelo had the advantage in all 3 fights due to age a real shame the first fight did not take place a few years earlier

 

I thought 117-111 would be the most popular score. I can't argue against it much. I gave GGG the first round and so had 116-112. I can see a 115-113 Canelo if you gave GGG another swing round. Believe most people and myself, when scoring a fight do jump on the who is doing better in terms of the way the fight is going rather than being able to score each round objectively without thinking about the previous round. I can't see a win for GGG at all, and I am a big fan of his, really don't like Canelo but he deserved this win based on the 12 rounds I saw.

To me the trilogy should be 2-1 to GGG. But it's officially 2-0-1 to Alvarez.

I had Golovkin winning round 1,10 and 12. I don't think this one was very close.

(I thought Golovkin won fights 1 and 2)
