You imply that casuals and biased scorers make up the consensus that G won the first fight, not aficionados and actual boxers. But this is simply not true. If you actually tallied the available opinions regarding the first fight, majority of professionals scored it for Golovkin, and its not even close.
That match was a hell of a lot closer than Canelo GGG 3. Canelo actually kept rounds close vs Floyd, landed shots, he didn't do nothing for the first 8 rounds vs Floyd like GGG did vs Canelo. I'm not saying it should have been scored a draw, but it was a hell of a lot closer and more competitive on a RBR basis than Canelo GGG 3. At least Canelo came to fight against Floyd. GGG did not come to fight on Saturday. He was a punching bag for the first 8 rounds.
They Gave Jermall Charlo a lopsided win versus korobov in spite of all but two rounds being decisively Korobov's.
This just shows how pathetic Canelo fans are - they can acknowledge the one dodgy scorecard that go against Clen (and in fact, even though it was a spar, 40 Year old inactive Golovkin has a case for more than 4 rounds) but cannot do the same when they the scorecards are ridiculous biased favour of Canelo. Canelo - Cotto - 119-109 and 118-110 Canelo (just no, it was much more closer than that, Canelo gets round for anything) Canelo - Mayweather - 114-114 (LOL) Canelo - Trout - 118-109 Canelo (Trout punch count 154 to Canelo's 124) - Now I had Canelo winning 7-5. He does not have a case for 8 rounds + that's just blatant corruption/favourism (both interlinked tbh) Canelo - Lara - 117-111 Canelo - Even the closer cards were horse****. Lara won that fight clean 7-5. Canelo does not have a case for 6 rounds let alone 7...9 rounds?!?!? come on. Canelo was hitting straights throughout and could just about land punches to Lara's hips and body with desperate hooks. Canelo Jacobs - 116-112 Canelo - Canelo won 7 rounds max and even that is very debateable. Canelo GGG 1 - all scorecards were ridiculous especially the 118-110. Golovkin won 8 rounds Canelo GGG 2 - GGG won 8 rounds again, more clearly than the first. Canelo Bivol - first of all Canelo won 3 rounds MAX. 3 Is generous. 2 is more acceptable. All the judges had the exact same scorecard and gave him 5 rounds lmao. ASSOL are you going to acknowledge there is some clear corruption in favour of the angry ginger midget?
One of the shittest most disappointing big fights I have ever watched live alongside - Fury Whyte, Fury Klitschko, Canelo Kovalev. Basic fight where Golovkin did not even try to win. Canelo was just doing the same usual boring **** he does in all his sparring "fights" - plod forward, exaggerated unnecessary head movement, then jab jab reach for right hand/hook to body that often falls short, or hits hip, elbow, and looping left hooks to head and body over and over. Just not a good fight at all. It should be investigated
Why is it hard for you to accept there is a real possibility? Based on the very fact that the fight was so lopsided but GGG some how got 5 rounds is a good indicator that they wanted to do Canelo wrong. How long have you watched boxing. **** like this is not new.
You GAVE Golovkin the last 4 rounds because there is no way in hell Golovkin won all last four rounds.
The only way judges go against Canelo is if he is fighting in the UK against someone local and the fight is very close. Anywhere else around the world he is the golden cow.
