Shakur misses weight........

There are absolutely such thing as weight bullies, the reason why they can make these absurd weights is because they are in their early 20's and still filling out. Shakur and haney are both textbook examples. It has nothing to do with race. But I do have to say if you can't bust a grape against guys so much naturally smaller than yourself, you're in big trouble when you finally do have to move up and fight men your own size.

 

Boxing has always been about physical attribute. Making weight is the same thing. If you make weight you make weight. That is your natural talent. No difference than guys who has punching power and look like a stick, guys who can throw punches for 12 rnds, granite chins, speed.

Having said that , what Stevenson did was a ***** move. He had no intention of stay at 130 and didn’t even bother to make weight.

Idk, if you’re consistently weighing a division or two, sometimes even three divisions higher than all your opponents it does seem unfair. It should be banned in general because regardless if it’s cheating or not, it’s crazy unhealthy and leaves the brain more vulnerable.
