Inoue probably walks into the ring at ~ 130. Unsure why there's so much talk of a size difference here. Don't get me wrong -- he's got a long way to go before I favor him to take out the #1 ATG at 135 -- but size wouldn't be his issue.
This is nonsense. So if Inoue gets day-before weigh-in and can come in at 130something, doesn't Duran get the same thing, which means he could come in at 140something? How about Montreal Duran vs. Inoue, how do you think that would go?
Duran fought a bunch of fights at 140 when he was the champ at 135. I don't think he liked making 135.
Shame it may end with Duran I think. I don’t believe Roberto is interested or possibly capable of training guys the way Brown did for him. He’s the Tasmanian Tiger of the boxing world.
The goal is to stack the fight so that it could have happened and they're the same weight Obviously unfair to Duran, but it's the only way the fight could have actually happened. Duran having to make 130 could have happened too, actually, but that would be more unfair, obviously.
