Parker only does well against shorter opponets like Chisora. If he fights against big guy who can punch he will look average. I'm taking Joyce by UD because of his jab, size and reach advantage. Both guys have granite chins so its 99% likely to go the distance. Also its in the UK and Frank Warren show so decision favors Joyce.
No, it won't go the distance, Juggernaut Joe will mow him down like all the rest, he may last a little longer, but fall all the same.
I think that is the most likely outcome. Parker has a good chin, if he does get stopped it will likely be while still standing and the ref waves it off.
Im very excited for this one, if FrankenJoyce can pull this off in impressive fashion that would be a huge statement. But im rooting for Joe-Park for the upset!
Depends. Very likely he might win by TKO or decision. However few chances for Parker to drop him or outbox him and with by decision. Joyce will pressure him from the beginning to the end.
You can't beat Joyce unless you're an elite mover. You can't just sit there and take, his jab (as slow as it is) is gonna land. He's sturdy and he's strong. There's really currently only two of those in the division (that have shown this at the highest level). I really don't like Joyce, but I see what he is, it's gonna be hard to beat him.
Odds are -205 for Joyce victory via any method. +150 for Joyce on points. +290 for Joyce by KO. Bet a $100 on Joyce by KO and it's a $390 payout including the $100 you put down.
Parker can withstand all the rounds, Joyce will probably knock him down, but Parker will probably get up and fight until the end, but Joyce will win...
I favour Big Joe. I recently wrote an award winning piece about how formidable slow-fast speed fights have typically proven to be throughout the history of our sport. They're typically very dominant, extremely durable and granite jawed, hit very hard and have great engines. But J-Park 3.0 possesses the attributes to have a lot of success here and it will all hinge on whether he can withstand that incessant pressure and power and avoid getting drowned by it and if he can catch Big Joe hard, clean and regularly enough to crack that Brit Level iron chin.
Easy to look good against slow, old men. Joyce is gonna struggle against the superior speed and defense that Parker brings. Parker is also proven to go 12 rounds, whereas Joyce hasn't needed to. If it does go 12 I expect Joyce to slow further.
