To be honest if I'm advising AJ I'm not pushing this fight. Timing is wrong for him coming off 2 defeats. If Joshua wants out then he should take the fight and cash out. If he's serious about being in the sport for 2 years plus, then he's probably better off taking Dazn's money and doing Eddie's 4 fight rebuild schedule, couple of puddings and has beens before a build up to another title. It's likely a belt would become available, as if by magic, and he could approach a Fury or Usyk 3 fight from a position of strength and with some wins and a good relationship with a new trainer under his belt.

    if I was AJ's adviser
I'd tell him to forget boxing for 6 to 12 months & go rest up on a sunny island & get his mind right.

but it seems he's tied to plan to fight for DAZN before the year's end. & I think the Fury fight is an opportunity he shouldn't pass up on. if he must fight. it is unlikely to come along again. & any good fight is risky now.

I get what you're saying too.

So basically Joshua will never fight for a heavyweight title again unless the defending champion decides to sign with DAZN, because Joshua can't fight on another platform?

    Got it. :hang

So if that's the case, that's it for Anthony Joshua then?

When's Hearn going to announce Joshua-Canelo?

    A twice-beaten boxer named AJ
asked Eddie to send out a Mayday
    A big fight he craved
that his name might be saved,
Alas now, no hope for that payday

When Holler heard Fury had bailed
And that Eddie had once again failed
    he grasped for the wall,
    the shock made him fall
And he lay on the floor and he wailed

Did you really typed that? You Fury fans are beyond deluded. Haye fight didn't happen last time i check. Fury ducked Klitschko rematch, with first faking injury, and then his mental b.c. Should we even remind Wilder fiasco ? AJ signed the fight against Fury, but Wilder won the so call arbitration. Yeah he did fight Whyte, but there was million stumbles before that fight happen.

But going by your logic, there was no problem with AJ fighting Klitschko, and he was ready to give him rematch. AJ unify against Parker, AJ fight Whyte, no problem with the Povetkin fight, no problem with Takam fight, no problem with Pulev, no problem twice with Ruiz, and no problem twice with Usyk.

Let's not forget Fury also ducked Ustinov fight as well, for whatever "reason" he may have.

Ducked the rematch with Wlad. told Haye he won't wait around on injured fighters, then waits around on injured Chisora. Calling Whyte a big fight is hilarious. He was fresh off getting knocked literally unconscious by a shot 41 year old.

Exactly. Fury also had full pack of hair but suddenly start losing it very, very fast, very, very young, obviously why.

This is the perfect plan for AJ. Having his head bashed in by Fury so close to the Usyk defeats will have him lose favor in the eyes of the public. He will essentially be finished to the general public (and he may be in that scenario).

With that said I am all for the best fights happening, so if Usyk isn't available then let's do it.

I said from the beginning Fury and Arum do not really want the fight.

Selfish old Arum doesn't want to share TV revenue with DAZN. He shouldn't worry about making more money, he's very rich and 90 years old. The old snake can't take it with him to Hell when he dies.

I'm glad there's a back up plan. I wonder who will be Joshua's opponent on December 17? Zhang would be very good.
How can Fury claim to be a Christian and do this all this time?

James 4:11-12 "Do not speak evil against one another, brothers."

Proverbs 11:12 "Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent."
