His showing against Ware was quite impressive indeed, as was his KO over Mohammedi.

His KO of Muhamedi is the KO of the year IMO.

Yeah, I thought he looked great. My brother says Silyagin will destroy him, but I think it will be a good fight, I could see the mass of Mbili giving Silyagin a lot of issues.

The rumor mill says so. Seems like an odd rumor to make up though, so I lean towards yes.

You say Christian Mbilli doesn't get enough credit but you're not even able to spell his name correctly. :risas3:

    It's Mbilli not Mbili.

Credit and respect begins when you call him by his correct name.

Well, i'd say Mbilli looks good. He has an entertaining style. But honestly, i think he packs glass. He was stopped before in his amateur days, and he was rocked a lot there too. The way he throws and reacts to punches, he's probably getting KTFO as soon as he faces a very good and hard hitting counter puncher. He's also looking a bit robotic like Joshua for example. Let's hope he can take punches better than AJ. They both have a very similar punching technique btw. Mbilli has better upper body movement though. But both are robotic as ****.

Mbilli has a couple of decent Ws on his record but let's be honest....DeAndre Ware or Nadjib Mohammedi are both shot to pieces. Ellis isn't that good (lost to Ware who isn't very good either). And a guy like Landaeta is just awkward but not very good at all. And which attribute does all those four names have in common? Right...they can't crack a god damn egg on a certain level.

The fight isn't even official yet. The WBC could order Mbilli to fight the Russian dude but i doubt it'll be his next fight. Silyagin is good though. I'd favor him over Mbilli. Much better fundamentals.
