I’ve been going to my local to watch boxing since the Chisora vs klitschko fight. It’s really rough but the atmosphere is great!

 

Finding the same in my local town.

When I asked, the response has been a firm no then blaming the cost of living crisis having to cut back on unnecessary expenditure.

Still going round the bars and now entering double figures trying to find a place to watch tonight.

 

Rough is the best isn’t it. It’s real, none of this swanky stuff. That’s for when you’re with a woman if you ask me.

A mate is fighting at the Olympia tonight so I’m going there now. Watching the rugby at the moment haha. Anyway, the Olympia is slightly too far out of town to walk and then probably not be shown anyway. So I’m going to have to walk or get the bus into Tuebrook (if anyone knows Liverpool you’ll know) and watch it in one of them if it’s on.

So, if I never write in here again it’s because I’m an Eastern European heroin addict

 

On the card tonight, Raven Chapman fighting some some spurious "international" title in her 4th fight. It is what it is but the world doesn't need all these meaningless belts...

This will be a great even matchup to prove the number 5 heavyweight in the division. It really shouldn't be PPV, but if you consider that fights like Prograis Taylor, Chisora Parker, and Whyte Rivas have been PPV, then it makes sense. Joyce Dubois was even going to be a PPV.

I am leaning towards Parker on a close points decision if the scorecards are fair. I think he'll win rounds early due to his superior speed, and I don't think Joyce will find it easy to land on him. However, I think weighing in so heavy may be a disadvantage. I would have thought he'd be 5lbs lighter.

Ringwalks will probably be at 11pm since it's a Frank Warren card, and I think the Chapman, Heaney, Serrano, Essuman and Cacae fights will all go the distance. Main event will probably go 12 rounds too.

 

Could Heffron v Zach Parker happen in the next 12 months? Cannot see Andrade fighting Parker for the purse bid. Parker v Heffron for a vacant title?

And of course we get treated to the Tyson Fury show all night too...
