Joseph Obey Joyce vs. Joseph Dennis Parker & Michael Magnesi vs. Anthony Cacace RBR.

He has a great chin but Parker doesn’t punch too hard. He went 12 rounds with Junior Fa who got stopped in 1 round by Lucas Browne.

 

Joyce is not that exciting. Taking punches is not a skill. And he’s super slow. He’s got good power but he’s not blitzing guys Foreman style. He’s like Foreman without the devastating power. Yes, yes, he’s got power but he isn’t running guys over like Foreman.

 

Considering he's the first to stop Parker - noted for his chin and resilience I think that says plenty?

 

He did what Vernon Forrest did to Sugar Shane Mosley a guy with faster hand speed and foot speed by putting the jab on him.

 

Different strokes I guess haha. I find breaking professional boxers down and stealing their will extremely exciting.

 

Easy to say on a loss mate...but opinions are that.

I personally think Joe Parker has improved within his last 3 fights. Tonight he hit the BIG bloke with plenty of shots.


I think Parker tonight with his attitude would be a handful for the top 3.

 

Kronk Fury would be troubled but if he reverted to dancing around like he used to he should be able to pick up a points win

 

Joyce is a HW Margarito. His punches are slow and unimpressive but you can’t hurt him and he never, ever, stops punching.

I think Joyce has been hurt and he definitely felt some of Parker's best shots in this fight. He just has an innate ability to absorb and recover quickly, and to his credit he steps forward and causes doubt and frustration in his opponents that they can't really move him

 

if old washed up chisora took some rounds off usyk imagine what a bigger version of that could do to him. and this ceartainly is not the amateur days. this is the big boys leauge
