If anyone can KO Joyce it's Tyson. Single shots won't stop Joyce but combinations that's a different question. Tyson at his peak was able to stop Holmes, something nobody else could do even years later when Holmes was way, way past his prime.

Joyce probably loses a decision, Tyson's defence and speed will be too much.

Tyson had genuine one punch ko's with both hands so his power isn't overrated.

Much better chin than Tyson? How many big punchers has Joyce actually fought? Tyson had a granite chin and only ever got stopped after taking sustained beatings.

Anyway i will agree to disagree. Tyson is too quick in my view.

Joyce is so much bigger and he could brutalize Tyson actually
if he gets on top quite early and keeps the pressure up he could pound the smaller man into the dust
    he wouldn't be intimidated

but I would go with Tyson to thrash him with speed

the combinations would knock Joyce off balance too much and he'd find Tyson hard to hit consistently

dmt has made some excellent points.

I’ll be interested to see you try and counter them.

Also, you are the guy that is showing bias here.

Tyson was too small for heavyweights like Joyce to some extent but in mno way was Tokyo Tyson, prime Tyson, P4P he was the greatest heavyweight of all-time.

Ruddock hit harder than Parker and maybe Dubois.

Tyson couldn't stop Quick Tillis, Greene or Tucker during his peak, there's no way he's stopping Joyce. The other big difference is that these guys mostly fought for survival, often hanging on for dear life or running away. Joyce will be hunting Tyson down and put him on the back foot, somewhere Tyson doesn't like being. And Joyce is significantly bigger than Bruno and Golota with a much better chin.

I swear the average age on this forum must be like 21. Wtf are you on about? Joyce has not yet done anything at HW, he has achieved less than even Andy Ruiz. Even old man Ortiz has been in bigger and better fights and performed. Wilder and Joshua who everyone laughs at have done more. Dont put Joyce in the same sentence as anybody other than Parker, seeing as thats his best win. And Prime Tyson fux him until he loves him, fa99ot

Just like he did to Douglas, Tillis, Greene and Tucker?

Douglas was down for 10,25 seconds.....Green was just in there to survive , lost every round, Tucker was a great undefeated heavyweight champion at that time ( also he lost 11 of those 12 rounds in my book )

Douglas had faster hands, better skills, actual ability to get away from punches. That last one is the key when fighting Tyson. Joyce doesn’t have it. Joe would be getting hit with massive combos. You realize Dubois was hitting Joyce at will?
