Joyce is getting more & more interesting as time goes by, he's made out of granite, for sure! Hat's off to Parker, he gave it his all (except for his coming in heavy, blame his trainer).

I can understand why the younger fans always pit the 'boxer flavor of the month' against the ATG's. If I had a dollar for every time I've read 'size' as one of the reasons these new guys always whup an ATG I'd be rich.

I truly thought Usyk would've shown these size-focused fans, that skillz pay the bills.

Take an ATG HW like Schmelling and move him even further away from the top 30, youngins!

Make way for Joe Joyce!! ROTFLMMFAO!!!

Thank God Ruiz beat Joshua when he did or it would be "Joshua KO's Louis".

douglas destoyed tyson's ass in february 1990. I dont see why joyce could not win to tyson in 1988 tbh.

This 'slow/fast' bs is funny. He's more like half dead/rigor mortis.

I must say that I like Joyce, he has heart and seems a good, respectable sportsman. He is quite enjoyable to watch, and I'll try not to let his fanboys sour me on him lol.

There is no way he is as slow as he appears given how often he lands when he throws. If you've ever thrown gloves at somebody, you know there has to be more than meets the eye, people do not just stand there and let you punch them. He doesn't have the eye catching speed up like Zhang, but there is something else going on when he throws.

it's not about slow/fast bullshido crap.

It is about buster douglas weighing 231 lbs and throwing 441 punches in 9 rounds (588 punches per fight), and joyce being 271 lbs and throwing 840 punches in 10 rounds and 1 minute (1000 punches per fight).

I think that people is not really aware of what 1000 punches a fight at HW is. That's stupid level of ridiculous stupidity. It is such a stupid workrate that I have problems believing that it can happen without heavy abuse of peds.

Boxing technique has advanced a lot. This question isn't as ridiculous as you think. I'd take Askren by TKO. I could see UD but given how large and advanced modern fighters are, if I had my life on it, I'd pick Askren by KO. No disrespect to a legend

People have to do a 180 on this "weak era" crap narrative very very soon

Because both Fury & Joyce are new breed heavyweights who need massive respect. NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE. This is special stuff, just like JJ, Ali, Louis and so on.

270 pound giants with unreal stamina. Joyce caught the classic slow bug expected of big heavyweights but he has done everything possible to negate this issue. His awkward angles and timing looks horrible to fight.

We also got our own more skilled Holyfield equivalent in Usyk! It's just a shame his HW career will be very short-lived. (imagine if we gave Usyk Holyfield roids?!)

We have a literal nuclear bomb in Wilder

Then we have a crossfit bodybuilder called Femi who is pretty decent but is just a future journeyman.

Tyson would probably not KO Joyce, Joyce would not KO Tyson

Joyce has no head movement, he'd eat shots all night.

    Tyson by wide UD
