Whyte is the fight for me or Ruiz would be decent shouts. I douby Whyte takes it tho as if he looses he's got no where to go. Would he risk a fight V Wilder? probably not but that would be fun.
Joyce is on the upward curve, no point in him taking on serial loser Del. Andy Ruiz won his last fight and is ranked Top 5, so a Ruiz vs Joyce matchup would make sense, with the winner in line for a title shot. Whether the fight would be made is another story.
It's a winnable fight that will help with the casuals. I'd sooner see him face the top 3 or 4 guys but it isn't happening.
There is no way that Ruiz would want to step in with Joyce unless it was for a lot more money than facing any other viable alternative. It's a guaranteed beating.
Would anybody want to step in with Joyce to be fair…he’s a big strong lad who packs a punch and has a damn good chin… his KO of Parker has raised his stock sky high. But short of his next fight being a world title shot…which I think he deserves…there aren’t many viable alternatives. Why should he fight the likes of Delboy? I can see how that makes sense for Chisora, after all what has he got to lose (apart from his teeth) And as for Ruiz…I get the impression he doesn’t fear anybody and would happily fight Joyce, if as you say, the price is right….and also like Joyce, he’s probably sniffing out a title shot. But with Heavyweight boxing politics being as it is, it’s anybody’s guess who fights who next!
He should fight Joshua, no belts on the line, Battle of Britain and all that nonsense. If Joshua's an old school fighter like he claims and will fight anyone then prove it and it would do his profile wonders if he won. It's the next best thing to fighting Fury for us watching.
Unfortunately, Hearns keeps mentioning Whyte. I think there's a verbal agreement regarding that one. Whyte will get another big cheque to be knocked over. His punch resistance is gone and his desire has probably waned. Since his loss to Joshua, he has never seemed keen on facing him again - very diplomatic about him most of the time. Another "top 10 win" for Hearns and the fanboys to go on about.
Joyce Fury makes more sense since both fighters are signed up with Warren, especially if Fury Usyk doesn't happen until after June...
He might have problems finding an opponent after stopping Parker. Bakole would be one rated name who would tango. No point in fighting more faded fringe men.
Nobody out of the top 4 fancies Joyce Would like to see Joyce vs Fury Wilder Joshua Uysk Realistically Ortiz Whyte Hunter Dubois
