Everyone slates Whyte when he's brought up as an AJ win for some reason, yet praise it when it's on Tysons resume! Tysons resume is thin. He's beaten Wlad and Wilder. And out of the two NOBODY has ever rated Wilder. And then it's blown up cruisers and journymen like Dull Boy. Tyson has been a pro since 2008/9. So it's pretty appealing really as he's been a pro for many years now.
I've always rated Whyte and certainly above Wilder. Calling Chisora a journeyman is doing him a disservice. Chisora in my opinion is a high "euro level" opponent who has been used a a gatekeeper opponent for world level. Chisora has a better record of career wins than Ortiz and there are people who consider Ortiz to be world level (wrongly in my opinion).
It's sad how some fools on here keep bringing up Takam and Co, but defend this. Takam is a much better name than Charr and opponent. I've got the funniest feeling that this place is full of "Lad Bible", Stone Island wearing, wannabe hooligans who idolise the Furys and the like of this world. Proper begs.
? @Brixton Bomber - can you try having more adult discussion. You’re probably better off with the likes of Vegan Beast and Marc Ant on the general forum if not.
He's got 13+ losses. In Boxing that is the definition of a journeyman/can/bum. This sport is all about the "0". So when your 3rd/4th best win has that many losses then that says it all. Ortiz doesn't have anywhere near as many losses. Literally every time Del steps up he loses. You wouldn't bet on him winning any big fight.
Losses to all world level opponents (Vitali, Fury, Haye, Whyte, Usyk, Parker and Pulev). The only excpetion is Kabayel. I totally disagree that the sport is about protecting "0" and taking easy fights (aka the PBC way). That attitude is why at times best fighters don't fight each and it needs to stop. Chisora could of done a Ortiz and Wilder and ducked most world level opponents and continue to fight people the level of Spzilka etc. Credit to chisora for stepping up constantly to fight the best in the divison.
Why the rebrand @Brixton Bomber ? It’s pretty pointless if your alias’ posting style is identical to your original account.
Ikr when was the last time AJ fought a truly terrible opponent? Molina? Charr is not a tickover it’s a complete walkover. I used to be a big fan of Fury and admired his comeback but he gets away with too much of this nonsense.
I thought an AJ Vs Fury fight in December would be too good to be true. Fury has been looking for a soft touch opponent for a while- calling out Chisora, the UFC guy and Thor the strongman who can't fight at all. And now it looks like the rumours over last month or so are right and it will be Charr who he faces in December. Who in their right mind would pay money to watch that shite? Even live or on PPV. If he wants to fight an absolute bum as a tune up he surely shouldn't get paid millions for it
He's not done it out of the goodness of his heart. He’s been paid very well to have fight he hasn’t deserved (based on his record and ability).
A lot of you don't accept and can't accept that it's a business and then a sport. You've proved my point. He's beaten who out of that list? He's a journeyman.
