I personally don't think it really matters. It was a pointless fight as GGG is finished.

If all 3 fights had took place prime vs prime, GGG would win each time with moderate difficulty.

Neither fighter is getting KO'd, GGG is a better boxer with a superior Jab and that's the difference.

First two fights for Golovkin, the third is a one that he lost being close to at least a draw.

Canelo lost the first two fights and GGG lost the third, so they are both losers and that is all history should care about

Seriously though, should just be happy that there was a good rivalry and good fights (apart from the third) worth re-watching

First let me say I dislike Golovkin and his fanatics immensely so there would be no way I'd ever favor him, I actually went out of my way in both 1 and 2 to give rounds to Canelo, Golovkin definitely won both fights 7-5 so to say I gave anything to him, is kinda foolish. That being said, despite the same score, Canelo did much better in fight 2 (but a round is a mini-fight unto itself and IMO he still lost 7 of em). I've never considered Golovkin a boogeyman, there were numerous guys I've stated I'd pick against him. Ultimately I strongly believe he won the series 2-1, however that last fight was absolutely the death knell and shows Golovkin will never get the actual outcome he's desired (an official win). I'll never scream robbery, I will say Golovkin was unlucky twice, and I say that objectively because again..........I don't like the guy at all and feel he was extremely overrated.

By saying that Canelo lost the first two fights, which is not what happened, you're suggesting that GGG won the trilogy 2 fights to 1. That's ridiculous. Canelo is undefeated vs GGG and clearly won the trilogy.

The fact of the matter is GGG never beat Canelo in 3 attempts. So to argue that he won the trilogy 2 fights to 1 is absurd. Fights 1 and 2 did not have a clear cut winner. But in both those fights, Canelo landed the better punches, was the ring general, and inflicted more damage.

2-1 GGG with Canelo's only win coming over the shadow of a ghost of a visage of a corpse of a 40 year old GGG.

I’m so confused but I will say in my view only it is more like this for these guys

    GGG 1st fight
A draw for the second would be fair.
Canelo for the 3rd ( 8 rounds to 4 for Canelo)

I'm sorry to inform you that GGG has never beaten Canelo in 3 attempts. Canelo clearly won the trilogy. I'll give GGG a half point though for the draw. 2.5 - 0.5 Canelo.

If we go by rounds won, Canelo certainly won more rounds in total over the 36.

And Holyfield has a draw with Lennox Lewis. Boxing is a corrupt $hitshow. Sorry to break it to you.

Holyfield Lewis is in no way comparable to Canelo GGG 1.

Holyfield draw with Lennox Lewis is a shame for boxing
