yes big shame. Happens a lot with talented fighters from Eastern Europe not getting the opportunities. Amazed that a big promoter hasn't signed Dychko.
I hate seeing these talented boxers decline due to inactivity. Why won't Matchroom, Probellum or Shalom sign some very good heavyweights like Dychko and Kossobutskiy? There's plenty of talent in the heavyweight division, but the managers and promoters are not doing what they are supposed to do.
His name sounds like Ivan Drago. That's marketability right there. Arum need to sign him and give him opportunities. If he's willing to sign an unskilled fighter like Makhmudov, why not take a chance on a guy with real skills?
You would thin these guys would have just a little more creativity in promoting since, you know, they are promotors and all.
Seems like promoters would rather hype up people who have pre-established audiences rather than build a boxer from scratch. Its really sad because this isn't a sport where its good enough to be good enough.
He’s a legitimate 6’9” by the looks of it. Clearly taller than Fury who didn’t want to stand normally in a photo with him. Fury is quite self-conscious about his inflated height listing.
He's ****ing signed to Probellum. Check their website. I assume his career will pick up due to the promoter switch.
probellum is ****ed cause of their legal issues.. Hardly had any shows this year, no tv deal. He deserves a chance with Top Rank or Matchroom.
Problem is that these guy have 0% star appeal. Generally EE have a very respectful mindset and beeing a big mouth is rather seen as a sign of weakness and not entertainment, especially then if you get your ass handed to you, you just come of as ridiculous. Most of them also have a hard time learning english and are pretty down to earth, which most americans dont really want in a boxing star.
