Joshua has heart i dont think thats been in question, His chin is bang average 6/10, gastank is bad for a top fighter. And his confidence can go through from a 10/10 to 2/10, right now hes at 3/10, hes not the strongest mentality.

His self belief, it was taken away after he was stopped by Ruiz. Had that not happened he blasts Usyk outta there in 6 rounds, but he doesn't believe in his self like he used to because he got beaten.

Interesting. Maybe Usyk was the true dark lord of the Sith all along.

Hes improved on almost everything imo. One thing i would continue to try to improve on would be his footwork.

His performance in the Usyk rematch was one of if not his best performance. He reinvented himself, and really showed a lot of improvement. If anything I think his biggest problem is probably his gas tank. AJ's gas tank seems to get depleted when he takes big shots moreso than when he exerts himself a lot. After the big round he had that he put it on Usyk he didn't seem tired at all, but then the next round he starts taking shots and all of a sudden he's gassed.

You could probably add Jimmy Wilde to that list.

According to eyewitness accounts from afficionados, Sugar Ray Robinson at Welterweight was as close to perfect as it was possible to be as a fighter. It's a shame we only have sparse bits and pieces of footage of that.

    Hello @Fogger,

The cheap American version can be defined by the following:

    - Amateur-tier boxing ability
    - Questionable chin (on par with the manufactured Brit)
    - Significantly less impressive resume - Ortiz annnnnnd?
    - Much, much smaller International following
    - Incomparable PPV sales with his Brit counterpart
    - The inability to support a 30lb costume
    - Brain damage to the point he made 15+ excuses for his recent losses

They call him the Bronze Bambi.

I was actually impressed with AJ's last two outings with Usyk ( obviously not the mental breakdown at the end of the second bout!). In both some decent stamina improvement and his improved boxing ability and general movement and boxing skills overall.

They were the best I've seen of AJ since his loss to Ruiz. It was simply a case of AJ just not being good enough against Usyk....in both the way AJ chose to fight and very probably that Usyk simply has AJ's number regardless of even if AJ had gone flat out and really tried to steam roll Usyk.

I don't think any currently improved version of AJ could of beaten Usyk TBH.

What then, if any, further negative mental affects have the two losses had on AJ though, over the more positive and physical improvements he's actually shown in those last two fights remains to be seen going forward.

Can he build on it moving forward in a positive sense?, or will he negatively regress.?.....
