    For me it's Oleksandr Usyk.

    There are others I like, but Usyk stands above the rest.

    Others I like include Beterbiev, Golovkin, Madrimov, Ryan Garcia, Hughes, Canelo, Crawford, Jermell Charlo, Kossobutskiy, Takam, Makhmudov, Kurbanov, Spence, Hrgovic, Kovalev, Zhang, Callum Smith, Lomachenko, Joyce, and Briedis.

    In no order here are my 5 favorite active boxers. Boxrec has Takayama listed as inactive, I'm not sure if he's retired but if he isn't then he would be on there instead.

    Zhangs and Inoue, I'd be very upset if any of those lot lost. Second tier would be Usyk, Babic, Pulev and Jin Sasaki. Third tier would be like Joe Joyce, Ken Shiro, Masamichi Yabuki, Dmitry Bivol and Lucas Browne.

    My exact first 2! Inoue speaks for himself and Zhang's growing on me a bit. Such a shame he started so late.

    He actually started boxing at a fairly decent age, it's just that he went pro way late and then nobody wanted to fight a 6'7 2x world 1x Olympic medalist known for punching ridiculously hard for no money. Given his style and lack of damage until recently, I think he could be good for a couple more years. His skill is improving enough to more than cover whatever athleticism he might have lost.

    In my opinion a pugilist that only come along every now and then. I've said before, if he were a painter he has yet to produce his masterpiece. Along with being a true sportsman, gentleman and all round nice guy. He's up there with some of the greats for me.
