He should have just retired after Fury leveled him. But he's returned to ascend the throne and become king of the gatekeepers. Derek Chisora 2.0. Fair enough I guess.

I’m not sure what your agenda is here or what argument you’re trying to make but I’ll break it down anyway.

    * Dillian Whyte is a prizefighter with aspirations of winning a World championship title.
    * Prizefighters fight for money
    * A prizefighters purse is based on his commercial value
    * A prizefighters commercial value is greatly heightened when they are exposed to international markets
    * When a fighter has international credibility any fighter that is fighting him gains a far greater platform then when fighting a fighter with only local market exposure
    * A prizefighter with more commercial credibility can demand more money for fighting*

    Here’s an example now.

Joe Joyce has local market exposure, if any champion i.e Usyk or Fury were to fight him they would have lots to lose with little to gain in terms of monetary value, they could probably fight Molina followed by Breazeale at the O2 & make the same. So why would they risk fighting someone dangerous when they can fight tomato cans and make the same money?

So the chances of Joyce getting a shot at the title unless forced through mandatory position is minimal. Now Apply the same logic to Dillian Whyte without the recent success or Joyce

In the opinion of many Whyte hurt the Fury/Whyte promotion greatly, so the PPV buys suffered. The buys don’t just hurt the fighters & promoters they hurt the proof of concept for future fights. How are you supposed to sell a product that has been proven to lack the value it demands?

Possibly but I've as much interest in that one as I do the Hunter fight. Zero.

Joshua obviously won't fight Joyce because it's very high risk but very low reward.

At least Fury has a big profile and it would generate a huge amount money even if Joshua did lose.

I suspect that ultimately it's Hearn who's scuppered it. He wants the Fury fight, but not yet. 3 losses on the spin is terrible for Joshua's brand and Hearn know that Joshua is vulnerable right now.

Despite what he said in the aftermath, he'll know Joshua's outburst was a terrible look and knows his confidence needs rebuilding.

I think both fighters would happily take the fight - it's the politics and promotion that'll put a stop to it.

Joshua clearly doesn’t want it or he’d have made it happen. “Both want it” has just become a predictable cliché laden with conjecture at this point.

Whilst I agree with everything you have said here. I completely understand why Whyte didn't bend over for Warren and play ball. In fact, I respect him more for taking a stand (as there were bound to be consequences).

Better than Breazeale and Martin obviously. Better than the very underrated Takam too.

To judge between Hunter and Parker is difficult (again underrated) untill the two fight and very close. Patker has the better record but to be fair to Hunter he has got a big fight since Povetkin due joining poor promoters wasting his career and now Hughie pulling out twice. In my opinion Hunter is the more well rounded boxer of the two but the fight could go either way and I wouldn't be confident in predicting a winner.

Pulev is a quality boxer, top 10 boxer majority of his career for a reason (unlike Ortiz which is inexplicable) but now past his prime and I would certainly back Hunter to beat him.

Robbed a win against Perez who was robbed draw against Jennings who was ranked in ring magazine top 10 because of it.

Took a few rounds off Povetkin , took 4 rounds off Parker, took AJ deeper than anyone else at the time, was beating Chisora until he got caught with a great punch and was beating Joyce too before the premature stoppage (and that was a past it Takam).
