I think AJ would like the fight against Fury but he won't be allowed to. This is also why I think there will be a breakup between AJ and Eddie Hearn / Matchroom within 1 or 2 years.

Joshua was offered the fight and bottled it.

Confirmed Joshua is a ducker not a fighter

Whaaaat? But, but, but, all the unemployed contract lawyers on this forum have been adamant it was just like getting a deal done on Premier League deadline day.

I'm guessing it's like one of those deadline day deals that don't make it over the line.

Honestly, I don't know who to believe any more!

If you can't trust an unemployed contract expert posting anonymously online, who can you trust?

Just watching the George Warren and Eddie Hearn interviews today tells you everything you need to know. Queensbury wanted to make this fight, Matchroom didn't.

I understand why Matchroom didn't want to make the fight, but they should have been honest with the fans.

From Eddie's last few interviews he has said he was sent a copy of the contract from Queensbury with comments last Wednesday, then Fury the compulsive liar came out and said it must be signed by Thursday.

But now, rather than continue with negotiations and try to resolve, and ignoring Furys obvious bs date he has posted on insta, he is now saying Furys date posted in a video is definitive so they stopped negotiations and pulled the fight?

This is a Hearn or AJ duck. When Queensbury confused to negotiate despite Furys original Monday deadlije date passing, it became clear anything Fury said was complete bs. AJs team should have sent the contract back!

With regards to Fury wanting a tune up fight in December before Usyk in the spring. Ofcourse he has to send other contracts out, in case the fight doesn't come through. He can't try to negotiate a fight 4 weeks out and not get his pants pulled down

Sure, I see where you are coming from, but probably not the best message of intent from Fury's side to be sending out contracts to another fighter at 258, i.e. Chisora...

Who knows how serious that is, though.

I don't get why people are even debating this still, it's clear as day what happened. We all know.

Don't worry, when they're out of arguments here, they'll claim every new user for an alt of someone. Stupid, but that's their best sometimes.

I totally get why Matchroom didn't want the fight. AJ has been beaten twice by Usyk in his last two fights. Even fast Car Eddie would struggle to build AJ up after Fury beats him. The exclusive deal with DAZN he signed would be worthless to DAZN, their first AJ fight would be the shell of him if Fury gave him a boxing lesson.
Usyk and Ruiz may not have completely destroyed the hype that Sky built up over the years for AJ, but Fury schooling him would make it hard to build AJ up to the level he once was, especially on DAZN.

What are you going in about. They would have been ironed out over the next week or so but Tyson put a deadline on it. It’s simple really. Both sides were still negotiating to find a middle ground.

Deal also won’t be signing the contract that was out to him on Friday for many of the same reasons as AJ. Unless the terms are changed to industry standard in the next 48 hours. Otherwise Charr it is. Have fun paying for that fight. If show was on the other foot everyone would be up in arms but let your bias prevail
