Are the BBBoC trying to have the fight called off or am I misreading Simon Jordan’s tweet?

I do admire your commitment mate. Bet you were devastated when Whyte got in the ring against Fury, didn't throw a punch then got flatpacked.

The fact the opponent is allowed steroids worries me more.

Nothing from Me. Don’t see why Matchroom have anything to do with it. They have a contract and can be sued by Benn if they do not promote the fight as Benn legally can fight

Yet leave themselves open to litigation should Eubank suffer a serious injury in the ring.

Do you think he should be allowed to fight?

No. But the ban has to come from the governing body and can’t come from Matchroom. If his b sample is negative and they have cancelled the fight when he’s then done nothing wrong it would cause mega litigation. Benn would be able to sue for not just this fight but the damage done to his career and loss of earnings. You could be talking a £100m lawsuit. That’s why they are putting it all at the board to ban him or let him fight.

but the board can’t ban him by the precedent they set with BJS without getting sued themselves. It’s the board that have got themselves yet again in a complete mess by winging it when trying to govern the game

Not at all. Since the test their would have been another legal contract drawn up for Eubank to sign to say he is happy to proceed based on the medical evidence and would absolve them
    Of blame.

If this is the case; then whoever is advising Eubank legally needs to be struck off.

All that has happened in reality is that one guy got his preparation right* and the other got poorly advised.

    * or maybe not, let's wait till the weigh-in if the fight goes ahead.

Given some of the images coming out of Benn's camp, I suppose we all should have expected Eubank to win this one by testing org TKO.

But who knew Conor's cycle would be as typical of your average Essex Deano as his sartorial sense, or that Matchroom had lost that much palm-greasing clout in the last year?
