The british board really need to make a statement with what they do with boxers who fail tests,not a slap on the wrist but a proper deterant I.e 2 year ban for a first offence,if they fail again banned for life
But the boxers themselves (the bigger known ones) realistically know that if they fail a test there will always be a pay day out there for them
For instance,even if canelo,fury,usyk ggg all failed drug tests they would never be banned from boxing for life because there 'name' is too big

But lets be honest here Boxing is riddled with drug cheats and i believe probably 95% maybe even more fighters from small hall to elite are either on or have been on PEDS at some point the reward far outweighs the risk. Small hall fighters will hardly ever get tested and Elite guys know how to use the in competition 'warm weather training camps in the middle east' to their advantage.
The sports scientists know exactly what compounds are banned and how to mask them and which metabolites need masking, Benn is a fool for getting caught he hasn't been fed the correct information this time.
But the question we all should be asking is what is Tony Bellew going to say on this now his 'mate' has been caught we all remember he believes all drug cheats should be banned for life (unless of course you are a matchroom figher and Bellew's mate).
