Hopefully Bakole gets a big fight now after beating Yoka when most people here didn't back him. I think Hunter is a better option though. He's been in camp for Hughie Fury, is American, and has a win himself over Bakole.
Think you have AJ confused with Fury (likely to fight Charr next and has fought the likes Schwarz, Wallin, Pianetta, Seferi, Flirtha, Pjakic etc) or Wilder (Gavern, Washington, Spzilka, Molina, Breqzeale, Arreola, Stiverne, Duhaupas, Scott and now Helenius)
Mitch, you still haven’t told me your top 10 for heavyweights when Wilder fought Ortiz the first time. I was genuinely curious about that because Ortiz I thought was a dead cert.
Forgot, i have read records at time etc and get back to you. It would have to be a very poor period in at HW if a lone win against Jennings actually merits a top 10 ranking.
No he isn't. He was never heard of until Fury fought him, and since then he was lacklustre against Brezeale and Sokolowski. He's just waiting for a big payday.
Whyte would be an ideal opponent for him right now. I don't want to see it but; 1. The casuals would bloody love it. Wembley sell out, 1 million PPV buys 2. Low risk fight for Joshua 3. Chance of scoring a spectacular knockout so they can start hyping up "NEW AND IMPROVED TONY DOSHUA 2.0" It's about as low risk high reward as you can get for Doshua. I'd be amazed if they didn't do it.
Where have these Arreola rumours come from? Hearn stated Arreola is a potential opponent for Whyte (along with Wallin, Mckean and Franklin). Whilst Hearn has stated names such as Hrgovic, Zhang and Wallin.
It started with a Twitter post. I have found it odd that I haven't seen mention of it anywhere else. I don't have much a clue about Twitter, but was told on here the account was legit. Then, I saw a number of Reddit posts talking about it, saying the Twitter account is well known to just make stuff up...
