Not sure who wins a first fight between them if they were both at their peak.

    Lennox wins the rematch.

The counterpoint is of course that Wlad is a bigger puncher than Rahman or McCall. I've never seen Wlad one-shot slobberknocked like Lewis was vs Rahman.

No, just beat down and dropped 5 times and STOPPED from a B list Lamon Brewster. Or was that Sanders? ;)

Why put prime in the title? Surely we'd assume that anyways.

True, but that says more of Lewis lack of focus since we all saw what happened in the rematch. Wlad always came focused and still went down a whole bunch of times.

Lewis has some shameful losses and is 10 cm. shorter. Also has not that unusual style and speed. Would be an interesting fight.

The fact there is a thread shows how overrated Wlad is in this forum. Recency bias or some other factor playing with people's minds, or you're all about 15 years old and don't even know LL.

LOL Who TF is Lennox Lewis. All I know is that Ronda Rousey beats Floyd, and Connor McGregor beats GGG with one hand behind his back.

Conor actually does beat GGG easily though (in mma or street)

Oh okay, I guess some people were old enough but just don't know boxing.

Funny thing about this one, I think Lewis beats prime Wlad but loses to past his prime Wlad. When Klitschko was younger and in his physical prime he engaged on a regular basis. I think in an actual exchanging of punches boxing match Lewis wins. When Klitschko got older and started utilizing his cautious, stand tall and keep your opponents away approach his defense was almost impregnable. Obviously, Lewis could still win in that scenario but I give the edge to Wlad.

If his defense was impregnable how come he clinched all the time?

That was part of his defense, as unpleasant as it was to watch.

That reach advantage will mostly be good for fencing a bit with the jab. I believe Wlad had a stronger more polished left overall aswell. This fight would look a bit similar to Wlad Joshua in my opinion. One is more willing taking risk but is also more open for the 123 clinch repeat by trying to make a dogfight out of it.

The thing i see is that when Lewis wants to commit he also opens himself up for counter fire coming his own way. An uppercut in the clinch is not impossible but its a big risk taking for getting outgunned and clinched on the way in. But it could be his element of the fight.

Lewis struggled a bit with Mavrovic who is the somewgat closest i can think of representing Wlad regarding boxing ability but without the game changing power in either hand.
