Remember Mike Tyson Saying He'd Beat Both K Brothers??

I remember reading about him saying it, basically he said I'm not been offensive or egotistical, but I'd definitely beat both brother.
That was about ten years back.
Times gone by, both Klitschko s have left the scene.

Does anyone feel differently about Tyson verse either Klitschko, then they once did?

 

I agree with Mike. At his best he stops Wlad and wins a UD off Vitali.

There's no way Wlad can grab him enough to survive. Vitaly, however, might well take him out.

 

Both of them spank him for different reasons. Tyson had problems with bog standard hit n holders like Tillis and Botha. Dr Octopus himself would have taken him to the Bernard Hopkins Academy of grappling and given him the lesson of his life. Vitali is just too big and tough and awkward. Tyson would make it interesting early but he'd not be able to compete with Vits' engine down the stretch.

 

When he said the K Bros could beat him, he was having an off day..

 

I always thought, if he'd have lost to one of the brothers, it would be Vitali.
He was obviously durable, and akward.
I still go Tyson but I can see what your saying.

 

I can see Tyson doing a very fast hurt job on Wlad personally.

 

Primes (IMHO): Because of the styles, Vitali would probably be a problem for Mike. I do think Mike would prevail, but it wouldn't be easy. I think Mike has an easier time with Wladimir. Again, styles.

 

Imagine how much clinching Wlad would do vs Tyson.

 

This could be like the Sanders v Wlad fight.

 

With him, need to look when he said the quote. He was much less humble when young.

 

Wlad isn't beating Mike. Even with jab and grab. Tyson has much faster hands than even Sanders did. Wlad would struggle to keep Tyson off him and the second Tyson lands a 5-6 punch combo, its over. If Wlad jabs and grabs excessively, he loses a UD.

Vitali could perhaps win. However, Vitali would miss a lot of punches on a 5'11 crouching target. Vitali isn't a 6'4 Douglas with great mobility. I think his engine would cause Mike some problems late in the fight but i think Tyson has the jaw to take Vitali's punches and land more than enough of his own to win UD.

I do not count out the possibility of Vitali winning vs Mike but anyone who things Wlad is beating Tyson needs to send me the drugs they are on.

 

I could see him beating Vald but I think Vitali survives the first five rounds and then grinds Tyson down with his strength and size.
