Thats bollocks. They are all the same. How many fighters has Warren ****** financially over the years? He's no moral guardian of the sport either.

4 year ban would be harsh. Also I can see this heading to the courts. Connor will find the best legal firm around to fight any UKAD ruling and he will have have a very good chance of winning.

I agree that Frank and most other promoters would stick up for and try and defend/ excuse their fighters if they failed a drugs test.

However, I don't think Frank and most other promoters would have gone to the lengths that Eddie had gone to as in to try and force the fight to go ahead knowing his fighter has failed s drugs test.

It's made even worse that Eubank Jr would have been coming in weight drained and his dad who has just lost a son and had an opponent brain damaged has been belittled by Hearn for calling or the fight to be stopped.

Didn't Kenny Anderson get a ban around that length? Ended his career although he wasn't a cash cow so I don't think this'll happen to Conor

In Matchroom's original statement over the Benn fiasco it states the B test sample has not been tested.
To an outsider this would appear that Benn may in fact be innocent after all and Hearn was saying the b test couldn't be done before the fight.
But the fact is the B sample ( which is identical to the A sample) will only be tested if Benn/matchroom ask for it and if they had known the outcome of the A sample for weeks there's no reason why they couldn't have the b sample done in time.

I just wish instead of Eddie talking shite to all the boxing press ( who most are in with matchroom) a real no nonsense sports journalist would call him out on his constant lies

Algieri said that there was no advance testing for his fight with Benn. They were asked to provide a urine sample afterwards.

Warren is a complete shark. Dropping fighters after a loss when he has rushed them for a quick buck. I don't understand why any fighter would be with him. Recent examples are when he tried to feed Joyce to Dubois but had to pretend it was an equally promoted fight.

Could be the best thing for boxing ever if it focuses the national newspapers on positive tests. Boxing has got far to clique and it has allowed people to get away with too much.

It's kinda ironic, if Benn had tested positive for a low profile fight, he might have been able to come back from it. Now with this fight being so high profile, almost no choice of coming back from it and getting good money
