    All down to what mood Joe's in at the time. He's certainly capable of outboxing Damiani.

    Bugner by clear decision. In terms of ability I rate Joe as one of the best British heavies ever. Certainly top 5.

    Well i would agree with Bugner being top 5. Lewis, Fury, then Joshua, then Bugner for me. Bruno would be after Bugner even if Bruno beat an aging Bugner.

    Aussie Joe is probably the biggest underachiever of the golden 70's era for me. Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Frazier and Norton- no way you would regard any of them as underachievers. Lyle and Shavers IMO maximized their abilities as did Quarry, Ellis etc.

    Good points. If Joe had been a tad busier in his fight with Lyle,the decision would have gone his way.
