If, after the UKAD investigation, it is shown there were no flaws in any stage of the testing procedure, how can he be innocent? His best hope is to try and mitigate for a reduced ban. Tough to do when he's been caught taking a substance used for female infertility...

Well, we can't rule out Benn being 'born in the wrong body' and planning to transition to female boxing after the Eubank fight.
This is the UK, a very progressive place at the fore-front of transgenderism.
This is place where men can be asked in hospitals if they are pregnant or not.
Perhaps Benn is planning to become pregnant after his transition.
I for one wish Benn the best on his journey and hope he does become the first trans crossover into female boxing. I think he'll make some excellent highlight reel KOs of female boxers and blaze a trail for more male boxers to reassign themselves.

 

More than likely he knew exactly what he was taking and the reasons why he was taking it. But he's innocent until proven otherwise. We just have to wait and see how this unfolds, but up to a 4 year ban tho? Geez louise.

 

It’s not a naturally occurring substance that was found in the test so he can’t even argue . Clomifene being a well known substance that is used after a roid cycle does not help his case either .

 

Whatever the outcome, there's no way back from this for him, is there?

I strongly suspect his natural levels of testosterone will plummet permanently simply due to the humiliation...

There’s no reason for a male fighter to be caught with clomid in his system, a woman’s fertility drug that is banned at any volume

Benn was dropped from the WBC’s rankings about a year ago because he refused to enrol with VADA: at the time he claimed it was an “admin error” but it’s obvious now why he refused to enrol

Not to mention Benn’s unnatural improvements in power over the last few years

With other cases of PEDs there might be an innocent explanation, but not in this case. 100% obvious that he is a drugs cheat.
