Why does Tyson Fury want to beat up guys like faded Chisora, tomato can Charr and poor old faded Pulev anyway?

Why won't he man up and fight someone in his prime, like Bakole or Makhmudov, both highly ranked by the WBC?

Because he's fighting a midget early next year? A midget he was hoping to fight in December.

Fury’s been begging for Charr and there’s a good chance he won’t even end up fighting this year at all

What makes me laugh about these threads it's always full of people saying 'why doesn't Fury fight x/y/z instead?'

If he did you'd still be here complaining about something.

    That's a weak excuse.

The truth is, Fury isn't the fighting man he claims to be. He should change his name to "Tyson Fairy".

This fight is okay I guess. The funny part will be when Hearns rattles off "he is a very dangerous fighter, he's lost to Vitali, Adamek, Wilder, Ruiz..... Stiverne and Kownacki".

If this goes ahead, it is one of the most shameful fights possible, an utter disgrace. The lowest of the low!
Anyone who gives AJ a 'pass' for this is pathetic.

There is absolutely no reason for AJ to have a 'tune-up' since he does not have a big fight lined up and hasn't been inactive. He should be right back fighting top fighters. Losing to ONE fighter twice, stretched out over a huge period of time, is not an excuse.

If he's a top three talent like his concubines think, then what is the problem fighting a top tenner? For the money he gets how can you justify an Arreola fight, except to salvage his hype-job career? Isn't he supposed to be a star like Canelo? They would never pay Canelo to fight someone like this now, he at least has to fight top contenders for his obscene paycheck.

Let's compare to Fury now. Fury shouldn't be fighting a 'tune up' for big money either, he should just do an exo or heavy spar behind closed doors, BUT he at least has an excuse that he's inactive and has a huge fight lined up. And whoever he fights, they won't be over 40 years old. If he fights Chisora, it's a disgrace, but nowhere near as low as far as opponent quality goes at this stage of Arreola's career.

Arreola was old and shot when WILDER fought him and Wilder was rightly criticised for it. For AJ to now fight Arreola after the guy has been in additional wars with Fat Pole and Fat Andy since then and is even older ... hard to put into words how low and wrong this is for an apparently elite fighter, how cowardly it is, actually. He's only doing it because he's SCARED of losing again.

This is the kind of fight that would be on the borderline of being denied by governing bodies, due to Arreola's age and massive punishment he's taken in the last handful of fights. That's how low it is.

Such a fight would be acceptable if AJ was to fight 3-4 times per year.

But given he has only been fighting once per year in recent years. Fighting a shot to bits tomato can really isn’t acceptable as your second fight of the year.

It’s time for the authorities to deny to sanction this fight and if it is sanctioned then the fans should boycott it.

I personally doubt AJ fights on this date.

He has fought once per year for the last 3 years. That is an absolute disgrace.

Is AJ capable of fighting twice per year?

Why TF are guys like Charr and Arreola still fighting the top guys? Is this the weakest heavyweight era in living memory?
