Agree three rounds is too short however Badr
Looked garbage in there. Overeem looked great, fought like he was still in his 20s.

Hari look slow, confused, lethargic, bulky, cumbersome. The difference in skill and experience should have been wide but Hari just
Looked amateurish tonight. He had looked much better against all his last 5 opponents even though he lost them.

Glad he retired, as he has nothing left to offer. And now we see the build up for Rico vs Alistair. That should be a good fight if this same alistair shows up. Though I think Rico is a strong champion.

It was interesting to see that interaction at the end of the contest there between Hari Overeem and Rico.

Overeem really surprised me there, he looked good. Ubereem is back baby. Right decision by Badr to retire.

I think Ben Saddik KO's Rico if they fight again, but I hope Reem gets the next title shot (looks like he will).

What happened was during the first round Reem was awkwardly rushing into Badr with his head down and throwing inside punches. Badr was doing well with landing his combinations and attacking the legs. Badr won the first round. Second round starts and Reem is starting to find his rhythm a bit, but Badr is still winning the fight. Reem lands a nasty uppercut on the inside making Badr's legs give out but he catches himself. 3rd round starts, Reem starts unloading on Badr, Badr's chin gives out, gets knocked down. Badr beats the count, Reem unloads again, knocks him down again. Badr beats the count, Reem tries to finish but can't as Badr is still fighting back. Reem wins the fight on points.

I was there live. Really enjoyed the fight and whole event!
How do you see Rico - Reem play out?

Why do you still have that Fury prediction under your user name?

Yeah I just feel like Badr’s timing and accuracy on combinatorials was off, and his energy wasn’t there to keep throwing. He looked sharper than this in his last few fights.

Rico vs Overeem - it will be interesting to see, I know Rico has an incredible chin and heart we’ve seem him get smashed by ben saddik and still stay standing. So he can take an absolute beating and hasn’t been KOd in years since errol zimmerman I think. He has fought heavy hitters and come out victorious.

I think Ricoo will be smart and sharp enough to survive and outpoint overeem. But I think I also think overeems duck and weave MMA style of getting close will be awkward for Rico like it was for Hari last night, therefore Overeem might give him a few scares here and there.

Reem looked like an absolute liability imho. It was bizarre to see. All the erratic movement ducking his head and stance switching and tripping over his own feet. I was sure he was gonna eat a knee and get KTFO. Luckily for him Badr is washed up too and a master of shitting the bed so it didnt matter in the end. I dont think Rico is gonna have much trouble with him though.

Reem's striking looked awful but it worked, looks like he will fight Rico next even though I'd love to see Plazibat get a shot at Rico instead. I think Rico, Plazibat and Saddik all stop Overeem.

Hopefully Badr is retired, he can still fight as he did win the first two rounds and has been competitive in all his losses but he just can't seem to finish a fight or be able to take a decent shot these days.

Sadik would waste Reem pretty easily.

Now overeem isnt hiding his roid use! The guy is still jacked. I remember the way he looked in pride when Liddell sparked him, he was a twig compared to what he looks like now.

The best move in this match is kicking. Overeem (11-4) made a triumphant return to kickboxing after 12 years in MMA when he defeated rival Badr Hari (106-17) in their third career meeting.
