Alexander Povetkin vs Andy Ruiz

Povetkin.

Better boxer, better head movement. It would be an interesting fight, but I don't see a KO for either fighter in this if it's prime for prime.

I see Povetkin taking most of the rounds. Maybe he'd suffer a knockdown but maybe Ruiz would also.

Joe Joyce bulldozes through him. Joe Joyce is more of a freak than people even realize yet. He will make world class fighters wet themselves. Povetkin will smash him with his best combo and he won't even blink.

Prime Povetkin would beat Andy Ruiz Jr. unfortunately Povetkin fought as a past prime fighter after the Klitschko era and failed to impose himself...

Povetkin had the pedigree and good short shots on the inside. Andy is a good quick fighter and he would have a chance but he just likes to mix it up a little too much and i feel that would be a bad gameplan with povetkin. Povetkin Late KO.

 

Joyce is 38 and on his way out. He couldn't prove a thing.

 

Ruiz will go down like Whyte.

Povetkin UD but having said that he's starting to get overrated on here. He was a very good fighter but I don't buy all this "he would destroy AJ and Wilder in his prime" comments.

 

Wilder isn't even close to his level.

As far as AJ, he nearly beat AJ while he was 39.

For Povetkin, Wilder and AJ, take out fighters older than 38 and compare their resumes.
