Hardest puncher to hit Canelo, nobody bigger than GGG caught Canelo flush, Jacobs didn`t land anything damaging on Canelo at all.

Like I’ve asked you previously, why would it hinge on beating Benavidas, who hasn’t done anything?

Also, it still doesn’t take into account title defences and the ability of the fighters etc.

It doesn’t always work like that though does it.

Byron Mitchell was obviously nowhere near the fighter that Canelo is, but he could hit.

Salem was dirty and caught Joe.

You’re comparing a guy who had 44 fights at the weight, to a guy who’s had about 6/7.

No proof, B-hop and Brewer were the only fighters to shake Calzaghe, but he recovered fully in both of those respective rounds, he also fought the hard punching Kessler, Canelo has never been hit hard flush by a hard hitting super-middle.

Saunders was not proven at super-middle, Calzaghe was.

Saunders was hurt at super-middle in his fight just before he fought Canelo, Calzaghe floored Eubank sr at 168, Saunders didn`t floor anybody at 168.

Fair point, but clearly Canelo has better punch resistance and slicker defense than Calzaghe. Which is certainly a measure of greatness. Calzaghe has been down 4 times over 46 fights, Canelo has 16 more fights and has never been down.

Being down, but undefeated is less than never been down, but having lost some fights? Does doping scandals count? Or the corrupted judges who helps win? Or the quality of the opponnents?
