    1. Wilfredo Gomez
    2. Mike McCallum
    3. Philadelphia Jack O'Brien
    4. Nicolino Locche
    5. Wilfredo Benitez
    6. Jung Koo Chang
    7. Jack Kid Berg

Comfortable with my top 5. Could have had Moran ahead of Chang or JKB. Can even see arguments for Yuh, Moon or Cervantes

Even allowing for the fact that many of these wins are shorter fights &/or newspaper decisions, and so there significance is diluted relative to, say a 15R WT fight, Philadelphia Jack O'Brien's win resume is insane, especially bearing in mind with some of these wins he was little more than a MW:

An old Bob Fitzsimmons, Tommy Burns, Marvin Hart, Joe Choyinski x 2, Peter Maher x 2, Jack Bonner x 4, Hugo Kelly x 2, Tommy West, the much bigger Jim Jeffords x 5, Jack Twin O'Sullivan x 3, Barbados Joe Walcott, Charlie McKeever x 5, Young Peter Jackson x 3 and Jack Blackburn.

Given he was 128-7-20 at one point, he was hardly a "win 2, lose 1" type guy, either

Hard to see Humberto Gonzalez as one of the choices but not Michael Carbajal.

This was truly, horribly difficult. I feel like it should have been split into lower weight and higher weight groups to give more a chance.

    Wilfredo Gomez
    Mike McCallum
    Aaron Pryor
    Nico Locche
    Jackie Berg
    Humberto Gonzalez
    Myung-Woo Yuh

I can't agree with you here; I think this is the weakest 20 on our list and there's a real danger of fighters sub- the very high level we've established making it in. That's my 20; there are 5 or 6 others that could have been on that list. The idea that we might induct fourteen fo those fighters across two sections from that list is disturbing give some of the names that have missed out.

I nearly asked for 6 here rather than 7.

Hardest one so far. So many of them were equally deserving I wished there had been at least one more standout to make it that bit clearer.

I think it's seven of nine and you nearly got there, personally.

    But yeah, hard.
