Yea fury gets away with a lot because of his personality but i think even the most die hard fury nut huggers are going to see through this one.

If this was the best available (don’t believe that for a minute) then i’d have just rather he didn’t bother until someone worthwhile was available.

Does anyone think Fury was trying to rush Joshua into a 3rd December date as it would have been to little time for AJ to get through a cycle if he was on anything?

Astonishing fight. To think their first fight felt like a big deal at the time, primetime on Channel 5, to an absolute dud of a rematch in front of a dead Excel at 1 in the morning when half the crowd had either gone home or been kicked out.

Two convincing wins for Fury, so to imagine that 8 years later, when Chisora has gone 13-7 since and beaten a couple of fringe contenders at best, they’ll now fight in a stadium show headlining a PPV card here and in the States is utter madness.

In a world where protecting your ‘0’ is the most important thing in the sport, Chisora’s grift is an absolute anomaly. He keeps losing, has cultivated a reputation as a ‘warrior’ despite being dull as dishwater in the ring most of the time, but he keeps on headlining PPVs. And he will do after this, between the likes of Whyte, Dubois, Joyce etc. he can keep doing this for a couple more years yet.

His groupies will justify it somehow.

Tyson can't hack a schedule of non stop killers. He's too entitled.

Sadly given Fury’s chequered past it is probably more likely that Dec 3rd times with his own latest cycle

Anyone who thinks he's not doing it whilst being under the guidance of the doc who got exposed last week needs their heads looking at.

At least they were both decent fights.

I went to the 2nd Fury v Chisora fight on the Eubank v Saunders undercard and it was a ****ing borefest, Fury just toyed with him and it wasn't remotely competitive. No interest in it whatsoever.

I've also no idea why Queensbury and the likes would run with it? They must be able to "read the room" and know from fans reactions to this getting mentioned that it's hugely underwhelming.

Fury v Chisora 3 and AJ v Whyte 2 is what we'll get when it should have been Fury v AJ. This HW era is so frustrating and underwhelming.

To be fair when Ali was Lineal he fought a man with 13 losses. But...I guess, in Ali's defence, he did fight again a month later. And the fight was his third of 5 in a calendar year...

Yeah I'm out of excuses for Fury on this one

We should be having Fury v Usyk for the undisputed World Heavyweight Champion.

If not then at least a lively new contender such as Joyce.

The Matchroom Heavies should not be near a World Title Fight until 2024 at the earliest now Joshua has turned down an undeserved chance in December. Hopefully the Chisora fight is the last of this nonsense and we get on with the real business at the top end of the division.

Perhaps in 2023, Matchroom could have a Matchroom Heavyweight Super Series at the York Hall with no belts on the line.

    Joshua
    Chisora
    Whyte
    Fisher
    Babic
    Wardley
    Hrgovic
    Zhang

The winner gets at shot at Daniel Dubois for his WBA Title in Dec 2023.
