I am rooting for my girl Claressa Shields the greatest woman fighter of all time, all respect due to my other girl "She Bee Stinging" Laila Ali daughter of the Greatest himself, the fantastic Lucia Rikjer, the coal miners daughter herself Christy Martin, Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano et al. Savannah Marshall is going down.

 

I just dont like Claressa I love her. Hope you don't feel to bad when your girl Savannah gets beaten comprehensively. Don't fret just 2 days to go for the ass kicking.

 

Not looked forward to womens boxing before. HOWEVER, this one i am looking forward to.
After running it through my advanced diagnostics program (my brain) I have concluded it will be a decisive points victory to Marshall, who will use her size and reach and strength to overcome shields. Shields in response will look to every excuse for the loss, unable to accept she is far from the GWOAT.

 

Shields is going to give Marshall a boxing lesson. Marshall's power won't bother Shields. It's gonna be funny to watch all the excuses after the fight.

Is there really gonna be a ton of excuses? I mean, most people on the forum are predicting Shields to win (myself included).

 

Most of the forum is predicting Marshall to win from what I've seen.

 

Are they? I kind of feel like the tune has shifted a bit.

 

Just watched two fights back to back because I don't know much about either of these gals. Watched their fights against common opponent Rankin.

Shields seems to have faster hands and is more explosive; nice combo punches. She's also got good head movement. Marshall is a lot bigger and awkward looking. TBH at first I wasn't impressed by Marshall, but the more you watch the better she appears. She's as awkward as hell, with this constant back and forth motion and side to side sway going on. She uses her size well and in the slo mos you can she that she has excellent timing. When Rankin steamed into her, she caught Rankin with all kinds of punches.

TBH Marshall looks like the boxer and Shields like the power puncher to me. While not discounting Shields, I think Marshall will be too big and awkward for her. Marshall on points imho.

 

Watched their amateur match, and it's a little how I envision their upcoming pro fight will go, with the caveat that they both look better now. This could be a fun fight.

 

Shields may even stop her because Marshall is going to get hit a lot consistently. She will be broken down both physically and mentally.
