Not in a million years. On a side note, will you lot stop discussing this charlatan when Wilder knocks him out? All I want for Christmas is for people to stop mentioning Helenius, Hunter, Sanchez, Hrgovic, Bakole and Zhang like they're any good. They're not. The aforementioned will never get a world title.
I'll be rooting for Helenius, but I think Wilder will knock him out in an early round. Helenius isn't difficult to hit, and one-trick pony Wilder is a hard puncher.
Yeah im not arguing that Helenius have good defense, but that Wilder is just as bad. He is so open, it's unreal. The only reason he has just 2 loses are his level of opposition, even though he had great power, and ofc are gifted with height and reach. But he telegraph his punches so badly, and he is so so open.
Helenius is there to be cracked with a right hand. Wilder has a good right hand. Unless Helenius is able to game plan somehow around this I really see this as an early Wilder KO win. Hope I'm wrong and we get a surprisingly good fight.
if that bum fails to knock Helenius out, it's better for him to go and hide at the South Pole between the penguins.
Helenius was outboxing Washington before getting caught and Washington was beating Wilder before he got clipped, so Helenius has enough craft to make it difficult. He also hits hard enough to hurt Wilder and could probably help himself out with that sneaky right hand to the body. Combine that with Wilder's wear and tear and he could pull it off. There have certainly been bigger upsets. Like most here, though, I think Helenius is too stiff to avoid Wilder's right hand all night.
Two glass cannons with dynamite fists. This is going to be an edge of your seat type affair. Either can go off the first power punch that connects clean on the jaw.
As poor as Wilder is skill wise you need good feet and mobility to be able to circle away and reset him to avoid his power right hand. Helenius has got lead feet and looks oafish in there. Wilder bazooka right hand KO before the 5th round.
Split bet, potential few hundred if it hits round 7, absolute min return of 40 I think (covered win, win by KO and round 7).
