    "I want to etch my name in the history of boxing and change the history of the Japanese boxing world. For the next two months, I want to do what I can and get in the ring. Butler is a very well-rounded fighter with no holes. The perception is that I will weaken him little by little with my own boxing and knock him out.     Inoue respects Butler because he knows Butler does not fear him

    I'll go one further and say he should fear Butler

    He who does not fear monsters is to be feared by monsters

    I wouldn't go as far as Inoue should be fearing Butler... But he should not underestimate Butler and hopefully the magnitude of the occasion (first undisputed bantamweight fight in more than 50 years) doesn't get to him.

    That said, Butler showed incredible poise, composure, grit, and ring craft (outstanding footwork and countering) in the Sultan fight. Butler definitely represents a style that Inoue's unfamiliar with and it's a possible preview for the Fulton fight.

    Butler walked up to the gates of hell and picked the lock of his own volition

    I love how Inoue isn't threatening to KO Butler, but rather just expressing his desire to unload a tsunami of power to end the Brit.

    Such statements are far more ominous than KO threats like when Devin Shamey said that he was going to author one of the most brutal KOs in the history of boxing against shot octogenarian Gamboa.
