Weeks had every right to stop the fight right there as Kovalev was not fighting back. When he hunched over like that a second time he left Weeks with no choice other to stop the fight.

In that gif Ward also had every right to keep attacking Kovalev. He's looking over at Weeks trying to figure out whats going on.

I don't hate kovalev and even defending him when people called him a racist. I said a racist wouldn't have a black trainer like kovalev did. With that said kovalev lost fair and square. The shots were borderline and the last couple he was folded over like a card table. He got beat up bullied and was looking for a way out.

In the first fight after being dropped ward figured kovalev out and went to work on him from that point on he was in kovalevs head. Kovalev was so used to seeing people drop quit or look only to survive when they felt his power but ward didnt fold he got up bit down on his mouthpiece and took it to kovalev and it messed with kovalev mentally. It was a very close fight that could've gone either way I will never deny it but ward got the decision. In the rematch ward proved he was the better man by stopping kovalev.

After the battery Kov's testes suffered at the hands of Ward throughout the fight he was in no condition to fight by then. Ref Tony Weekes just stood by & watched it too even after a " Keep em up Andre" warning in round one. Both Ward & Weekes should have been hauled in front of the commission . But there again the Commissions are a big part of boxings problem.
Today the winners are not decided by which was the better fighter obeying the rules BUT the fighter with the right connections

 

You know as well as I do that the "borderline" is the navel NOT the advertising on the front of a fighters shorts thats almost 6 inches Below the beltline. Try to defend Ward all you like but if youre honest you'll call him & his apparent accomplice Weekes either incompetent or cheaters
