I'm agreeing with you really. In a roundabout way I was trying to say the people involved might not have much sense. The metaphorical "mate down the pub", and Conor? But I suppose maybe also his team ... maybe they're not too savvy yet ... they won't have the budget of some others, and certainly wouldn't have had, say, a year or two ago.
