It could be the case. Helenius doesn't have that great a KO percent surprisingly tho

He is inactive in the ring but only needs one punch to turn the tables. If we were to compare His powerpunch to KO ratio im sure it would be very high. Boxers with good stamina has outworked him in the past. And he gets too tired to throw the right with good effect.

I dont see Wilder doing a Chisora or a Duhaupas on him. He doesnt have the chin or the grind for it. But Wilder should win it due too his speed advantage.

It’s a good weight for him. His best win against Luis Ortiz was at the exact same weight. He looked worse against Fury as he got heavier and heavier. Even though Fury was a shell of himself in the first fight, Wilder looked at his sharpest in the first fight.

Hellenius is really going to struggle to find Wilder.

Pretty light for Wilder and heavy for Helenius. Hope its a good, competitive fight.

I wonder if we are going to get Tarver-Jones II here, with Wilder dropping too much weight in his late 30s. It also happened to Byrd when he dropped down to LHW late in his career. It would have been better IMO for him to come in between 220-230. And I don't think Helenius is a joke, he's better than I think people are giving him credit for. And he can punch. If Wilder's punch resistance is gone, he could get clipped by the first right hand Helenius lands.

We'll see if this is a perfect storm for Wilder to get knocked out in brutal fashion (coming off two brutal KO's, dropping weight, and fighting a puncher). But in all likelihood, Wilder by KO. Still, I grabbed Helenius by KO at +775. I think what I've outlined is a possibly, definitely better than the 11% odds on Helenius by KO.

I think this is near Wilders perfect weight. The weight he added fighting Fury slowed him down and took away from his power. Really looking forward to this. Wilder is always in exciting fights. From what I've seen of Helenius he has a tendency to serve his chin up on a silver platter and he likes to counter punch. Great style match up for Wilder. Doubt this fight goes to the cards.

that extra weight helped wilder resist the
fury's punch and gave him extra punch and strength for the fight because he was on steroids... if wilder went up in this weight for the second fight with fury he would have been annihilated before the 5th round

Wilder looks in great shape. He’s going to batter Helenius.

Let's remember 2016 Helenius was a completely different man and not the evolved Sugar Robert Helenius.

    2011-2016: Physically shot Helenius
2016-2018: Physically and mentally shot Helenius
    2018-2022: Sugar Robert Helenius

In the Fury trilogy Wilder was at his best in the first fight which was when he was at his lightest by some margin compared to the other two fights. Its definitely a good thing he has dropped the weight off but it may seem a bit light and maybe up around 220-225 he might be better, he certainly had more stamina, explosiveness and movement when at the lighter weight so we will see how he looks in the Helenius fight .

Fury fought light Wilder, medium Wilder and heavy Wilder.
fought him 3 times, 3 different referees, all 3 times in Wilder's country.

    Wilder cannot beat Fury
    this is settled already

So puts on nearly 15kg of weight in between fury fights of basically muscle, now comes in the same weight leaner!? "They all on steroids"

Wilder fought the drug addled, weight crashing ghost of Fury in their first fight, it's what's known as a cherry pick gone wrong

Could also be that Fury was coming off a years long binge of alcohol, drugs and fast food. He was still carrying a bag of lard on his waist in the first fight. Life habits and strategies aside. Fury clearly took the trilogy.
